What is Support the Soupman Essentials?

Soupman Essentials was developed to connect corporations and individuals to a marketplace of unique gifts made to benefit the homeless. For every backpack, blanket, jacket, hat, gloves, socks, and more that are purchased, another is donated.

We also offer a complete line of customized products from which the proceeds go to Support the Soupman.

What is our goal?

Our corporate gifting program is an innovative was to foster creativity and constantly explore new ways of delivering value and impact through gift giving.

Is Soupman Essentials a non-profit?

Soupman Essentials is a for-profit offspring of Support the Soupman Corp, a 501(c)(3) organization. Soupman Essentials exists to make a profit so that Support the Soupman can continue to provide it’s services to the homeless. We are following the buy one gift one business model. Meaning for every item purchased, a gift of equal value will be given to the homeless.

What does my purchase help support?

Support the Soupman provides basic essential services to the homeless of New England! From a hot shower to decent clothes on their backs and a nice meal in their stomachs, Support the Soupman travels from Bangor Maine through Pawtucket Rhode Island to help restore the dignity of America’s most vulnerable population. Providing essential sanitary services to the homeless community saves taxpayer dollars: Healthcare costs are reduced when ER visits and general inpatient hospitalizations are decreased.

The generosity of our corporate gifting programs allow us to continue to provide our services to communities throughout New England at no cost – thereby relieving the financial burden for some of their social service programs.

What is your return policy?

We stand by the quality of Soupman Essential gifts. We will accept unworn, unused, and uncustomized items within 30 days from the date of purchase. All items must be returned with the hang tags attached and all original packaging. Any merchandise without these items, or considered worn, may not qualify for a refund. All products that have been customized (etched, embroidered, etc) are not eligible for return unless they arrive with a manufacture defect or have been damaged in shipping. Please note, any items that arrive damaged from shipping must be reported to Soupman Essentials within 7 days of receipt of item. Our standard office hours are Monday – Friday 9AM – 5PM Eastern Standard Time. We will reply to your email within 24 hours during standard operating hours.

What if my items are backordered?

Items that aren’t available to ship when an order is placed will be placed on backorder and will ship at a later date. Backorder ship dates are approximate, and we will email you if the date changes. Please note that, while your credit card will be authorized on the date you place your order, you will not be charged until the item ships. You will be able to cancel your order if we are not able to provide an appropriate alternative.
